This 2-day sail is a unique opportunity to feel the roots of this Nordic country; the solid, silent, mystical quality of scattered islands formed by Ice Age. This is a birth place of natural tranquility that offers an alive support for your meditative self-inquiry. The solid essence of Finnish land and the deep silence at the sea must be experienced, there’s nothing like it in the world!
This area of the world has breathtaking beauty. Rugged landscape of the archipelago provides an unique backdrop for you coming back to your body and sensual awareness. You will have an opportunity to walk barefooted in the forest, sit by the water, rest in stillness and dive deep in your experience through guided practices.
The theme of the retreat is “Sense of Nature”. This is an expression used by traditional Finnish healers that had a wise connection to animals, plants and trees. Through embodiment, self-regulation and conscious stress release we gain greater connection to life and our sense of nature. We discuss how to use our body, intuition and emotions as a compass in life.
This is an opportunity to recharge, quieten your mind, and return back to your natural state of being!
There will be fresh & delicious meals prepared in the ship gallery by a private chef. We will have guided meditations in tranquility of rocky shores of an island, enjoy a barbeque on Svanhild’s deck and sauna after anchoring in a peaceful bay. Have a swim before falling asleep in rustique cabins. And most of all, connect with the nature, new friends and yourself.
Experience the nature to awakening as you are taken into a soft yoga exercise at sunrise as you feel the gentle touch of a lively wooden deck.
Parts of the retreat will happen in silence – mostly during the sailing, leaving time for you to enjoy the views and sea breeze on your face. Before taking off, we will get to know each other, have an introduction to the weekend and set intentions for our journey together.
The archipelago around you supports and teaches you how to be in balance what is innate and natural in you. When we slow down to appreciate nature around us, we learn to appreciate our bodies and our life more.
